For clients and colleagues who wish to collaborate with me, I offer my writer’s code of ethics as a foundation of a good working relationship.
DISCIPLINE
The difference between a half-baked job and a job well done is a matter of discipline. I have worked with countless people who were never disappointed with my work turnover. To me, a project is a bunch of cogwheels that should be in good shape in order to create a product. Discipline works the same way. A loss of discipline is like a dysfunctional cogwheel that destroys productivity.
PASSION
I wouldn’t be in the writing business if I hated it. Passion is not about going gaga about a short-lived interest. It’s about being wholly involved in an activity. I have been writing since I was in grade school and realized it was something I could never give up. My passion is to communicate through the written word, and I am excellent in doing it.
CONTINUOUS LEARNING
A writer needs to have an open mind in order to become worthy of her craft. Continuous learning is a survival tactic and an evolutionary advantage to those who plan to succeed. Since writing is a job that requires thought, then an advancement of thought is necessary. I intend to keep on learning new things as my job, and life itself, requires it.
